Straight and Narrow Outreach Project

Hudson Perinatal Consortium has partnered with Straight and Narrow, a women’s long-term inpatient drug rehabilitation facility located in Secaucus. Hudson Perinatal Consortium facilitates weekly health education groups for women in the Straight and Narrow program. The topics covered have included HIV education, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome education, the effects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco on the fetus, secondhand smoke, sexually transmitted infections, breast health, Hepatitis A, B and C, communication skills and parenting skills.
