Funded by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services the goal of Access to Prenatal Care Program is to improve birth outcomes and aid in the prevention of mistimed and unintended pregnancies. Access to Prenatal Care is a comprehensive support and mentoring program that compliments existing clinical and educational services. The Access to Care program ensures continuity of interconceptional health care through the integration of evidence-based interventions as well as linkages to community-based health care services for non-pregnant and pregnant women and their families. Projects of the Access to Prenatal Care program include: The Community Doula Fellowship, the Teen Health Initiative, Community Health Education and Childbirth Education.
